This natural, vegan and ecological material degrades completely naturally, without creating toxic residues. Its harvesting is a completely ecological process: the cork oaks are subjected to a simple debarking process that does not require pruning or damaging the trees.
The name Caravela comes from the time of the great Portuguese maritime discoveries. The caravel builders used the wood of the cork oak to make the parts of the ships exposed to the weather.
